Caregiver Coaching for Families Facing Dementia

When you’re the one everyone leans on, dementia caregiving can quickly become a  full-time job. You’re fielding medical appointments, behavior changes, safety concerns, family opinions—often while maintaining your own career or managing a household.

At Idaho Neuropsychology, we work together with our patients and their caregivers to create a clear plan that takes into account medical concerns and the realities of daily living.

When You’re the One Keeping Everything Together

You’re allowed to ask for backup. You’re doing an extraordinary job in an extraordinarily hard situation. Caregivers are most likely the person:

  • Managing appointments, medications, and transportation.

  • Fielding late-night calls when something goes wrong.

  • Trying to protect your loved one’s dignity while keeping them safe.

  • Already stretched thin with a demanding job, supporting other family members, or managing your own health and wellness.

If you’re reading this and thinking, “This is exactly my life,” that is a sign you don’t need to white-knuckle this alone anymore.
