A Neuropsychological IME typically consists of:

  • Medical record review
  • Diagnostic interview (typically 90-120 minutes)
  • Neuropsychological testing (typically 4 – 6 hours)
  • Consultation with retaining party
  • Comprehensive written report summarizing findings and answering referral questions 

 

For examinees, the evaluation is typically conducted across two separate appointments (diagnostic interview and then testing appointment on a different day).

A Psychological IME typically consists of:

  • Medical record review
  • Diagnostic interview (typically 90-120 minutes)
  • Psychological testing (typically 3-4 hours)
  • Consultation with retaining party
  • Comprehensive written report summarizing findings and answering referral questions

 

For examinees, the evaluation is typically conducted in one day (diagnostic interview followed by psychological testing).
